Powerball Lottery
As I am a NFPer (which by now I think you all know), I keep track of my last six cycles on the calendar affixed to the fridge. This would be the five previous months and the current one, which I circle. So, upon gazing at 28, 32, 27, 38, 28, and the circled 41 (Which finally….thank you! began on Monday after a solid 21 days of PMS hell), Puppy says, “Are these your lottery numbers?”
“Umm…honey? I’ve been writing down my last six cycles for at least four years!?”
“Oh, well, you can see how I would think that, right? There are six. And, it looks like the one you circled is the Power Ball, doesn’t it.”
I was at a loss. MEN. Why do we keep them around? Oh, right. Entertainment. Good Lord, babe! Boy Howdy, do I love that engineer!

March 12, 2008 at 9:48 pm
And that is why he deserved those nail clippers. *shakes head*
March 12, 2008 at 10:24 pm
Really…. it would be too priceless if you really DID use those numbers for PowerBall. Better if they paid out.
If I were still cycling…. I’d definitely use that to pick our next numbers.
March 12, 2008 at 10:34 pm
Heeheehee. You should totally play ‘em!
March 12, 2008 at 10:50 pm
Oh God, you totally have to play your cycles… That is too funny.
March 13, 2008 at 2:16 am
I agree. Play the cycles. That’s just entirely too funny.
March 13, 2008 at 5:14 am
I think you should definitely play them!
How do they think our bodies work?!?!
March 13, 2008 at 5:36 am
They truly are that clueless. Sorry. My plan was to raise my boys to be more aware but the older they get the more man-like they are. It’s a genetic coding thing, I’m pretty sure.
March 13, 2008 at 6:07 am
Play them! Play them!
That’s great!
March 13, 2008 at 6:13 am
Yep, clueless. Plus, there are some repeats of numbers! Silly man!
March 13, 2008 at 6:42 am
Well, if you think about it… it kind of is a lottery, of sorts. hehe
March 13, 2008 at 6:54 am
Yeah, I’m surprised he didn’t notice the repeat, either. And I’d say you’ve already won with that last number…
March 13, 2008 at 7:04 am
Ha! I have news for you. Look around you. You’ve already won.
March 13, 2008 at 7:24 am
My hubby is just as clueless. I bought a huge book on NFP for the hubby and I to read “together” when we were just starting out. Guess who is the only one who read it. Yep. Me.
All he did was pester me. “Can we have sex?”
I would say, “What does the chart say?”
And his response would always be, “I have no idea.”
sigh.
I say play the cycles. You might get lucky.
Get it?
Lucky?
March 13, 2008 at 9:13 am
Could you imagine winning millions of dollars based on your cycle! That would be crazy…and seriously funny!
March 13, 2008 at 9:20 am
HAHA!!! Sounds like something my hubby would say!
PS.. she accepted someone today, was that you?
March 13, 2008 at 9:24 am

March 13, 2008 at 10:00 am
I can see the press conference at the lottery headquarters already…
“AFF, how did you pick those numbers.”
“My engineer husband thought my cycle days were my lottery numbers. So I played them just to make fun of him.”
March 13, 2008 at 10:05 am
Where had he been?? lol
That was tooooooooooo funny!!!
March 13, 2008 at 10:26 am
Obviously you will be playing those numbers now, right?
(Yes, they are idiots, luckily they’re cute!)
March 13, 2008 at 10:30 am
Play the numbers, play the numbers!
March 13, 2008 at 11:11 am

March 13, 2008 at 11:21 am
Hey, you never know. Play the numbers. You might get lucky…

March 13, 2008 at 12:32 pm
As if I didn’t love you enough for having “bitch” in your header, you are an NFPer?? Me too! Well, I was until last fall when I became prematurely infertile. Now we don’t have to chart. But NFP is the way to go!
March 13, 2008 at 1:01 pm
That’s the funniest thing I’ve seen today! Men! And they did look similar to our lottery numbers.
I know we had 41 as the powerball.
March 13, 2008 at 3:24 pm
My husband would do the exact same thing. I swear.
March 13, 2008 at 4:31 pm
Your cyclical patterns are obviously related to a ball and power. Powerball. Why not?
March 13, 2008 at 6:43 pm
He just might be my husband’s long lost brother. Totally sounds like something he would say….(BTW, my hubs is adopted….any bastard children in the fam?)
March 13, 2008 at 7:23 pm
haha… I would sooooo play those numbers!!
March 13, 2008 at 7:27 pm
Must join the “play those cycles” bandwagon. But when you win, make sure you only give a small percentage to Puppy.
March 13, 2008 at 8:18 pm
Get to buying some lotto tickets with those numbers
March 14, 2008 at 5:11 am
just because of that…you need to play!! how funny would it be if you won!!

March 14, 2008 at 7:05 am

LOLOLOL that’s hilarious! Of course, if you win the lottery I guess we know who will have the last laugh. But still. Men are hilarious creatures!

And if this comes up fourteen times, it’s not my fault. I kept getting ‘error’ everytime I tried to comment.
